The leaf and hexagon trivets feature two distinctly decorative patterns and are designed with modular capabilities for multiple functions within the kitchen. Each features two distinct patterns; A sculpted pattern on one side, and a linear textured pattern on the opposite side. The silicone trivet is extremely versatile and also very playful. The sculpted side of the trivet acts as an effective barrier between hot pots and the counter and is also easy to clean. This side can also act as a spoon rest or holder for other kitchen needs such as eggs while cooking. The opposite side of the trivet contains an elaborate texture that acts as a grip for use as a jar opener or to grab hot pans out of the oven. Each trivet is able to be combined modularly. This element is useful for larger dishes or as a decorative placemat or table runner. The silicone trivet has a small hole for hanging, can withstand high temperatures and is dishwasher safe. The two trivets are completed in 5 different colors: white, charcoal, clay, slate blue, and black plum.
The trivets collection were designed by Carrie Hack utilizing extensive user research, design for environment practices, evaluation of market competition, trend insight, and pattern design principles.
